T he paper uses statistics to analyze the contribution of foreign investment sector (FI) to Vietnam economy in the period of 1998 - 2017 both in terms of success, limitations and shortcomings, and proposes views, orientations and some key solutions to improve the efficiency of attracting and using foreign investment in the coming period.
